WHITE WATER RAFTING
In the remote highlands of Viti Levu lies one of the most unique river trips on Earth. Slicing a deep chasm through the island's tropical interior, the Upper Navua River is our hidden pathway to a pristine tropical wilderness. Shrouded in lush rain forest, fed by countless waterfalls and protected by challenging rapids, the Upper Navua River is Fiji rafting at its best.
Rivers Fiji is proud to introduce you to the Upper Navua Gorge. Your exploration of this amazing river is perhaps one of the most unique journeys in all of Fiji, if not the South Pacific and the World. This excursion will take you through some of the country's most formidable and phenomenally beautiful terrain in the relative comfort of inflatable rafts. This is a special trip not because of one unparalleled attribute upon which the success of the trip is based, but many special and scenically significant places; each individually worthy of special recognition. There is not one waterfall but many (some say at least seventy); not one short stretch of deep, narrow canyon, but kilometers. This is a place where black volcanic walls are at points barely five meters apart and over forty meters high and fringed by emerald rainforest. This is a place where man has been merely an intermittent visitor at best, where some of the wildest and most beautiful Fiji can still be found

WATERFALL TOUR
Our famous "Waterfall tour" is a 45min drive from our base at Ellington wharf. The drive takes you down the coast towards Suva for 25min, then into the hills and the Nakauvandra Mountain Range. We then drive for approx. 20 mins on an unsealed road into the Hills. We cross creeks, weirs and numerous valleys, small villages and locals waving wildly as we pass slowly. Waqa lives on a 180 acre farm in the hills, he has Pineapple plantations, Mango Trees, Fruit Trees and vegetables growing. His herbal medicine talk is very entertaining and enlightening, amazing really! A swim in the waterfall, a sun bake on the rocks and a feast of traditional Fijian treats. Dancing, songs and stories all fill in the afternoon activities. This trip is available 7 days a week with prior booking.

MUD POOL and HOT SPRING
Variously known as the Sabeto Hot Springs or Sabeto Mud Baths, this activity is one way to immerse yourself into the Fijian way of life! Located halfway between the major cities of Nadi and Lautoka on the main island of Viti Levu, the Fijian mud baths are a must-do holiday experience.
A naturally occurring phenomena, the warmth of the geothermal springs comes from a volcanic source with the unmistakable odour of sulphur which is thought to convey therapeutic properties. The site is popular with locals and visitors alike and a chance for some, err, good clean fun! Administered by a local village
